ROBINSON & POWELL ASSOCIATES OF HAMPTON ROADS, INC.

 

This non-profit organization was created to educate, engage and stimulate our youth to have fun while learning that science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) areintegral and interconnected to everyday life and everything that surrounds us.  We can have fun and learn at the same time!

 

Mixin’ with Beats Academy is the non-profit’s first program.

 

Per the application, the Academy is requesting identifying information about the student, school information of student, parent or guardian information and contact numbers, medical condition of child, emergency contact information and agreements concerning COVID 19 and potential dissemination of child’s identity, etc. in relation to his/her participation at the Academy.

 

Parent/Guardian can revoke permission of child’s inclusion in other media publications, features etc. at any time by written revocation sent to the school’s address, certified return receipt – the revocation, however, shall be prospective in nature and not impacted by any prior authorization or inclusion already in use, displayed or previously recorded.

 

The information provided in the application shall not be disseminated to third parties without legal authority or permission of the parent/guardian.     

 

The corporation and/or its employees or associates will make every reasonable effort to prevent any loss, misuse, disclosure or modification of personal information, as well as any unauthorized access to personal information.  It will use appropriate security measures when destroying personal information, including shredding paper records and permanently deleting electronic records.  

 

We may change our privacy policy from time to time, but it is one of our goals that your personal privacy and the information you have supplied to the Corporation is safeguarded and honored at all times
